So?…Who are we?
The Kings Head Inn has been an established Inn for over 300 years here in Addlethorpe, just a 5 minute drive from Ingoldmells and about 3 Miles north of Skegness. We are a family run Business with decades of experience within the hospitality industry. Over the last 20 years we have completely transformed what was a traditional and somewhat tired Inn to a beautiful and welcoming place. Over this time we have added a Touring caravan park, Modern En-Suite guest accommodation and most recently a fully stocked specimen fishing lake with top of the range lakeside lodge rentals.
We offer yearly Touring pitches, Day passes, Static caravan pitches and at the heart of it all is our newly extended Pub and Restaurant. We also offer a full menu consisting of home made locally sourced food and are famous for our Sunday Dinners! Why not pop in today and experience for yourself the true magic of the Kings Head family. Its no surprise to us that many of our Touring park guests have been here for many years and we hope to share as many more with you all in the future.
KINGS HEAD INN, ADDLETHORPE CIRCA 1909
- The name Addlethorpe is from the Old Scandinavian Eardwulf+thorp, or “hamlet of Eardwulf”. It appeared in the 1086 Domesday Book as Arduluetorp.
- In 1842, the only pub listed in the parish was “Berties Arms”, with Ann MAWER as the victualler. That pub is listed in 1868, but the name was changed sometime after becoming The Kings Head.
